This is a list of status effects in Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2.

Bad Status Effects

Bad Status Effects, also known as Status Ailments, are status effects that impair the ability of an afflicted Demon.

Bind

Main article: Bind

Prevents action from being taken during a turn. Enemy attacks cannot be evaded.

Charm

Main article: Charm

Demons will randomly attack their own allies or aid the enemy.

Curse

Main article: Curse (Ailment)

Reduces the effectiveness of healing skills.

Mute

Main article: Mute

Prevents skills from being used. The affected demon can still Attack.

Poison

Main article: Poison

Inflicts damage when turn ends. If HP reaches 0 due to Poison damage, the demon dies.

Weak

Main article: Weak

Increases the probability of being affected by any status ailment by 100%, except for demons that can nullify status ailments.

Barrier

Barrier is a state that grants its subject immunity to status ailments.

Charge

Charge is a state that increases the target's next Physical attack by x2.25.

Concentrate

Main article: Concentrate (Status Effect)

Charge is a state that increases the target's next Magic attack by x2.25.

Null Mortal

Main article: Null Mortal

Null Mortal, also known as Evade Mortal, is a state that nullifies the Mortal effect. However, this state does not nullify damage dealt by skills with Mortal effects.

Lydia

Main article: Lydia (Status Effect)

Lydia is a state that heals 15% of the subject's HP every turn for 3 turns.

Critical

Main article: Critical (Status Effect)

Critical, also known as Might, is a state that guarantees that the user's next Physical attack will have a Critical effect.

Repel Magic

Repel Magic is a state that repels all non-"Almighty" and non-"Pierce" Magic attacks.

Repel Almighty Magic

Repel Almighty Magic is a variation of Repel Magic that can also repel Almighty (Magic) attacks.

Repel Physical

Repel Physical is a state that repels all non-"Almighty" and non-"Pierce" Physical attacks.

Repel Almighty Physical

Repel Almighty Physical is a variation of Repel Physical that can also repel Almighty (Physical) attacks.

Spirit Chains

Main article: Spirit Chains

Spirit Chains are a type of negative status effect, which last as long as the subject has a Spirit Chains "Count". Spirit Chains are not considered status ailments, and effects that remove or grant immunity to status ailments have no effect on them. Up to five counts of a Spirit Chain can be active at once, and one count is removed once a demon completes an action.

There are currently 5 types of Spirit Chains.

Corrosion

Main article: CorrosionCorrosion reduces Physical Defense and Magic Defense by 80%.

Indignation

Main article: IndignationIndignation increases the MP cost of skills by 6MP and forbids them from passing.

Intimidation

Main article: IntimidationIntimidation reduces Physical Attack and Magic Attack by 50%.

Salvation

Main article: Salvation (Status Effect)When a demon inflicted with Salvation completes an action, they will take 7500 damage. This damage ignores death prevention skills, bulwarks and demons killed by Salvation will be unable to revive.

Suppression

Main article: SuppressionSuppression stops Chain Effects that activate from a demon's passive skills and panels. However, Chain Effects from active skills will still function.

Decay

Main article: DecayOne count of Decay will lower Max HP by 20%, up to 5 counts. If a demon has 5 counts of Decay, their Max HP will be 1. Decay can be offset by Fortify.

Fortify

Main article: FortifyOne count of Fortify will increase Max HP by 20%, up to 5 counts. Fortify can be offset by Decay.

Gloom

Main article: GloomDemons inflicted with Gloom will receive -20% to physical hit rate, physical evasion rate, critical rate, and ailment infliction while receiving +20% to the chance of being critically hit and ailment vulnerability. Gloom cannot be removed with skills such as Prayer or blocked with Good Status like Barrier. Entering Zenith will remove Gloom and the demon will be in a neutral state.

Malice

Main article: MaliceFor each count of Malice, increase damage dealt by 5%, decrease healing rate received from healing skills by 5% and decrease ailment auto-cure rate by 5%. A demon can have a maximum of 5 counts of malice, for a total of 25% for each effect.

Revive Ban

Main article: Revive BanDemons inflicted with Revive Ban will be unable to revive via skills such as Recarm or auto-revive chain effects like Peach of Immortality. Revive Ban can be lifted by certain demons such as Maria and Ouroboros.

You're Next

Main article: You're NextDemons inflicted with You're Next will be revived as a level 1 Reiko Kashima. This effect cannot be removed.

Zenith

Main article: ZenithDemons in Zenith will receive +20% to physical hit rate, physical evasion rate, critical rate and ailment infliction, while receiving -20% to the chance of being critically hit or being inflicted by a status ailment. If a demon in Zenith is inflicted with Gloom, both effects will cancel out and the demon will be in a neutral state.
