Proto-fiends are a Race of artificially created Demons that appear in Shin Megami Tensei V and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance.

Proto-fiends are a race of artificial demons created through the Awakigahara system comprised of three types; Combat, Logistics, and Command. They are created to serve Japan in times of crisis, with the most commonly used being the combat type Aogami units.
