Origin

Design

In all of its appearances, Ose is a bipedal anthropomorphic leopard.

In its Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne design, Ose wears a green, high-collared cape with a red underside and a white, fundoshi-style codpiece around its groin. It has two scabbards on its back, in which it sheathes its two longswords. Its longswords have curved tips and green handles. Ose's swords were slightly redesigned for Persona 5, now having pointed tips and larger, square-shaped guards. Ose's design was slightly censored for the Chinese release of Persona 5 X. In it, Ose now wears white shorts under its codpiece.

Liberation Dx2	One of the 72 demons of the Goetia. He has the power to reveal truths and fill his summoners enemies with blind rage. Ose can also change a person to their desired look, but as a consequence that person will not realize the transformation took place.

Game Appearances

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne

After Hikawa activates his Nightmare System in the Assembly of Nihilo's base, he tells the Demi-fiend he was not meant to survive the Conception and summons an Ose to attack him while he escapes. Even after Ose is defeated, he tells the Demi-fiend that he will never be able to find Hikawa or Yuko Takao and that it is the Assembly of Nihilo who will be the ones to create the new world. He then disappears.

Later at the Obelisk, Lachesis will briefly mention Ose, calling him useless for his failure to defeat the Demi-fiend.

Giten Megami Tensei: Tokyo Revelation

Ose is first mentioned by Sanshiro Soma to Ayato Katsuragi in the Psychic World saying that he's imprisoning students of Seijo Academy in the Yomi.

Katsuragi then at the Yomi is told by Okuninushi that Ose was once defeated by Taira-no-Masakado's reincarnation: Kojiro Soma, but Ose made a contract with Konohanasakuya's spirit so he only was send to the Yomi upon dying by the hand of Kojiro Soma. He also stole the Kusanagi no Tsurugi.

Due to an earthquake the Yomi was flooded with the dead, so Ose took this chance to regain his strength and is planning to feed on the dead from those who will be sent to the Yomi due to the further event that will occur so he can resurrect in the Yomi and later on the Earth.

Okuninushi then tells Katsuragi that with the mirror he has, the Magatama that Hiruko has, and the sword of Ose, he’ll have the three legendary artifacts and the door to the Takamagahara will be open.

He also tells him that if Katsuragi defeats Ose he can take the sword as his reward, since it’ll be better if it was on him rather than in the Yomi, Katsuragi accepts to help them and Okuninushi tells him that Ose is in the lowest level of the Yomi.

Depending on the alignment two scenearios can play:

When Katsuragi reached Ose’s room, Ose seemed calm and surrounded by demonized young people and was surprised by this unusual guest, he then ordered his demonized people to attack him. Upon defeating them Ose asks for Katsuragi's name, to which he can tell him his name or refuse to, regardless of the choice Ose says that he should be honored to die by his hand and so Ose begins a fight After he’s defeated, he can’t believe that he’s defeated by a human again and wonders what in blazes Katsuragi is, after that he dies and Katsuragi obtains the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi.

If Katsuragi has a Dark-Chaos alignment, Ose instead will tell Katsuragi that he smells just like him, if Katsuragi says that he has come to defeat him then Ose will tell him that they can make a deal, Katsuragi can ask what kind of deal and the deal is that he lets Ose enter his computer and help him get to the surface, plane Earth and that as a reward for that he will grant him his sacred sword, the one who stole, to which Katsuragi can say yes or no. If Katsuragi tells him that he didn't come to fight then Ose will ask him what is he doing here, he can either say that he wants him to join him, give him his sword and that he came for nothing. If Katsuragi says that he wants him to join him then he will make the same deal. Katsuragi upon saying that he wants him to join him he can also hesitate during the negotiations and if that happens Ose will tell him that negotiations are over, that if he wants him to join him then so be it, but that he must try it by force.

Regardless if he says that he wants the sword or wants him to become an ally, Ose will propose the same deal and so Katsuragi will receive the Kusanagi no Tsurugi and Ose will join him.

Once the two reach Okuninushi's room, two scenarios can occur:

If Ose is not summoned Okuninushi will be surprised and will say that a great disaster will befall the world and will sent Katsuragi back to earth.

If Ose is summoned Okuninushi will be surprised to see him summoned by Katsuragi, Katsuragi can either choose to fight Okuninushi or leave the Yomi, if the first option is chosen Ose says that he will put an end to Okuninushi's life and so will make the Yomi their own, and so a fight begins and upon being defeated, Okuninushi will sent Katsuragi back to earth. If Katsuragi decides to leave Okuninushi alive he will say that a conflict between the Kunitsukami will be inconvenient and so approaches the exit of the Yomi, and as Ose sees Katsuragi's intentions, he follows him although frustrated.
