Magatsuhi Skills
Magatsuhi Skills are a mechanic introduced in Shin Megami Tensei V. They are unique skills that the Nahobino and demons may use by harnessing the power of Magatsuhi.
Overview
To use a Magatsuhi Skill, the player must first completely fill the Magatsuhi Gauge, which happens automatically at the end of the player's turn or by activating certain Miracles or skills. Once the Gauge is full, the Nahobino or one of his demons can cast a Magatsuhi Skill by consuming it. Unlike other skills, it does not consume any other resources or a Press Turn. The Magatsuhi Gauge's state is preserved between battles.

Shin Megami Tensei V
The Magatsuhi Gauge is filled by 15% to 25% at the end of the player's turn. Certain Miracles may also fill it mid-turn, though if one action fulfills the condition for multiple Miracles, only one Miracle will contribute to the Gauge.
Magatsuhi skills are tied to the user's Race, except for Omagatoki: Critical, which can be used by any Race. Each Race has access to one Magatsuhi skill that must be unlocked by acquiring its corresponding Talisman, though some skills may be shared between Races.
During battle, enemies may end their turn by gathering Magatsuhi, which allows them to use Omagatoki: Critical once the next enemy turn begins. For certain enemies, such as bosses, this serves as a telegraph that they are going to use a specific skill on their next turn. Unlike the player, enemies do not have a limit on how often they can cast a Magatsuhi Skill.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance
In addition to Shin Megami Tensei V's mechanics, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance introduces Periapts, which unlock Magatsuhi skills that require multiple related casters in the Nahobino's active party or stock to be used, and Innate skills which interact with the Magatsuhi Gauge and Magatsuhi Skills. There are also Magatsuhi demons, which are variants of normal demons that cast Magatsuhi skills as if they were normal skills.
